On the campsite there are lots of chickens, which are actually quite bold so you have to be careful not to leave any food out of your bags. There is also a few cats, who are very friendly, and one local cat has certainly found a use for my bike – which more or less sums up the pace of life around here… for the past two days I have been chilling-out and doing absolutely nothing, except sit in the shade and read my kindle and look awestruck at the local scenery.
Tomorrow I’m up and away and heading south and then south west – and heading towards the desert. It should be fun….
