A day without rain – especially in Scotland – is a find day and today was another fine day and an opportunity for some mileage on the V-Strom. This day I went east towards Aberfoyle then over the hills and north past Callander. At the town of Balquidder I turned off and followed the road alongside Loch Voil, and towards the end of the loch I found the perfect place for a rest and a brew.
And with a cup of freshly brewed coffee and a few sandwiches I could sit down and enjoy the peace, the quiet, the tranquillity and of course, the scenery while quietly humming the Van Morrison song, ‘There’ll be Day’s like these’…
