Today we had another dry day so it was a great excuse to get the bike out, get on the road and do some mileage. It was quite cold, but with a couple of layers and my heated grips turn to 50% I headed east towards Aberfoyle and then north along the B292 to Loch Arklet.
After a few pictures I headed west to Inversnaid and to Loch Lomond, and after a coffee from my ever-present flask plus a chocolate biscuit, I got back on the road and headed back home.
It wasn’t really a long ride, and it was quite cold, but after a week of being cooped-up in the flat and watching the rain, it was a pleasure to be out on the road again and a pleasure to be riding the bike. It was only a small journey, but even so, being out on two wheels really does clear away the cobwebs of one’s mind.
More mileage today and the bike is just wonderful…!
