It’s the 25th of March and the weather is good – so time for a ride-out. My first stop was on the A83 at the Rest and be Thankful, about half-way between Arrochar and Inverary. It’s a car-park and rest area where you can enjoy the views looking down the green valley of Glen Crow. But besides the view, the best bit is the highly convenient burger van – which makes the most amazing cheese-burgers with a slab of cheese about 10mm thick… I digress.
And on this wonderful day, as I was enjoying the view and tasty cheese-burger, I had a small visitor who came to see my bike, and of course, hope for some crumbs…
